August 12-August 16  Ages 6-9  

Discover the Long Island Sound!

Shoreline exploration and waterfront ecology connect grains of sand and the green eggs of horseshoe crabs. There’s lots to love and learn at the beach!

August 26-August 30  Ages 3-9  

The Science of Matter and Engineering!

Collaborate with others as you design and construct solutions to engineering challenges!  Send us your thinkers and builders!

Aug 26-30 is a mixed aged grouping great for siblings and friends to explore together!

Each week offers something different!   Register for one session or multiple sessions!

Designed by internationally recognized educators and conducted in the beautiful Chandlery building, 101 East Broadway, on the harbor in Port Jefferson, New York.  The Maritime Explorium offers unique programs facilitated by certified teachers in a safe and stimulating environment with a wide range of activities, flexible groupings, and innovative materials that excite crew members of all ages.
